"We chose this restaurant based on its excellent Google reviews, and I have to say it exceeded every expectation. It was such an outstanding culinary experience that we came back again—just to confirm the top quality—and it was every bit as exceptional the second time. The fish dishes were superbly prepared: the sea bass and sole on our first visit, and the turbot on the second were all cooked to perfection. The local specialty, cataplana with rice was absolutely phenomenal. Paired with a well-chosen wine, the entire evening was unforgettable. I left genuinely delighted—and so did my wife, who never used to enjoy fish much. After this experience, she not only loved it but truly savored every bite. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team. We’re already looking forward to returning next year!"

"We visited as a group of three with a toddler and, despite not having a reservation, the team were very accommodating and quickly found us a table outside, which was great. The mushrooms were delicious and fresh, and the seafood stew (cataplana) was excellent. The cod croquettes were ok, and while the oven-baked cod (menu specials) looked great, it lacked flavour. The piri piri chicken was also a bit disappointing, lacking spice and punch. I also thought it looked a little bit pink in places. Service was friendly enough, but as we were seated further from the entrance, it was quite slow and our second drinks order was forgotten (though they did apologise). With a toddler, a bit more attentiveness would have been nice."

"We have been to Casa Algarvia restaurant for dinner twice and our dining experience was absolutely amazing. The staff seated us without a reservation, we didn't wait long to order or get our food, everything was as one could wish for. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and calm. We had sole, sea bass, turbot and cataplana. All the mentioned fish, including the cataplana, were wonderfully prepared and served. I also really liked the vegetables and potatoes that were served with the fish. There is nothing to complain about, I highly recommend it and if I ever visit Carvoeiro again, I will definitely and happily come back here. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!"

"I ordered the mixed meat plate as a suggestion of the chef and was satisfied! 3 different kinds of meat, grilled to the point and a typical Portuguese sausage. The starters were with a good tuna and salmon pate and regional cheese. Will definitely come back again, for a nice dinner. Update: Once again a pleasure to be here. The food and the staff are amazing! Thank you!"
